Pennsylvania DECA - Alumni  
 
The Pennsylvania DECA Alumni Chapter was created to allow members of DECA to stay involved in DECA after graduation. The alumni work as a supporting body for the high school division of PA DECA. Our chapter elects officers each year to govern our various activities and programs. As an alumni member you would have the opportunity to judge competitive events, help raise money for scholarships, assist their local chapter or state association with leadership development, attend alumni meetings and socials, serve as guest speakers, or become a mentor for DECA students. As you can see, there are many ways for alumni to get involved at any level!

Alumni membership is available to any former DECA member of any division or any member who is completing their last semester prior to graduation. Alumni membership dues are $14.00 each year which entitles members to a membership pin and card, the DECA Dimensions magazine, PA DECA Alumni newsletters, and access to many more exciting alumni activities!

The Alumni chapter currently has approximately one-hundred members and growing! In order to accommodate so many new members, we held the our first annual election last year. The Alumni Officer Team has been working very hard to create programs for the upcoming year. The goals and objectives for the year are as follows:

  1. Create a mentor/mentee for members
  2. Provide scholarship opportunities for DECA students
  3. Hold annual meetings & Elect officers
  4. Assist at DECA Conferences
  5. Create a network of businessmen and women
  6. Provide job opportunities to DECA Members
  7. Individually contribute our talents to the DECA Community
